Call for Artists: Residency and Exhibition Opportunity

Three empty shop spaces in Leeds Shopping Plaza have become available to be used as temporary studios throughout the month of August . Art in Unusual Spaces are looking for artists whose work and activities will engage the passers-by in the Shopping Plaza and be visible through the window of the spaces.

There will be an informal event on Thursday 2nd September, 5-7pm at which artists will showcase work and projects undertaken during their time spent in the spaces.

This is the last month we will have access to this row of units in Leeds Shopping Plaza so if you have wanted to put an idea forward for their use now is the last chance! Proposed activity that utilises the window spaces and involve the creation of new work will be favored.
