Light Night Photographs by Jonathan Turner in Leeds Shopping Plaza

Jonathan has been documenting Leeds’ tradition of putting art into unusual spaces on Light Night for the last three years.
Light Night is a free event held annually in October across Leeds city centre. Running late into the night, museums, universities, colleges, walls, windows, basements, squares, bars, posters, infirmaries and bridges play host to projection, drama, colouring-in, travelling galleries, dance, storytelling, music, ballet, marches, games, ghosts, angels and monsters.
The window exhibition comprises photography taken by Jonathan Turner from Light Night 2008 and 2009.
Light Night is co-ordinated by the Arts and Regeneration Unit of Leeds City Council with a multitude of lovely partners from across the city.
